Memory Care

We understand the challenges that come when a loved one requires Memory Care. Our compassionate caregivers are specially trained to help people living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia to live meaningful lives. In addition to a personalized care plan specifically tailored to your loved one’s daily needs, we employ innovative and effective programming designed to enhance connection, build strength and inspire confidence.

We also support the families of our residents living with memory loss through a variety of resources, current research and activities designed to bring our community together. Our Memory Care neighborhoods are small and easy to navigate, offering residents a greater sense of independence as they explore, meet new people and take part in activities and events. In order to fully support our residents’ nutritional needs, we provide three chef-prepared meals daily in our dining room in addition to snacks.

Studio to 2-Bedroom Memory Care Apartments

Our studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom Memory Care apartments in Bloomington, Minnesota, are naturally bright and inviting, with kitchenettes and private baths. A warm and dedicated care team provides regular linen and personal laundry service, as well as weekly housekeeping and daily bed-making. Around-the-clock supervision is complemented by additional monitoring by a registered nurse. In our experience, when a resident feels their best, every day holds the potential to spark connection.

Our Memory Care neighborhood is smaller and easier to navigate, allowing residents to be more independent. Our experienced staff has a special approach to caring for those with memory loss.

Care Services

Full-time registered nurses and 24-hour personal care assistants are available to all residents receiving care. Residents can choose from a large menu of supportive homemaking and healthcare services, like assistance with dressing, bathing, medication management and more. Our list of available services is extensive and includes two-person and mechanical lift transfers, assistance with insulin and other medical needs.

Spiritual Support

We welcome residents of all faiths. We offer non-denominational church services and regular Catholic Communion.

Visiting Health Providers

We partner with provider groups to bring experienced podiatrists, audiologists and optometrists directly to our community on a regular basis.

On-site Primary Care Services

We have partnered with Bluestone Physician Services, whose doctors and nurse practitioners are specialists in the care of residential senior patients, to provide on-site care at our community on a regular basis. In addition, we partner with Medicare-certified providers to offer covered nursing services; physical, occupational and speech therapies; and hospice and social work services to residents.
