Kersten worked in the hotel industry for 20 years before finding her passion in senior living more than four years ago. Her love for working with older adults started when she became the primary caregiver for her 90-year-old grandmother. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration from Augsburg College. Kersten is a Licensed Assisted Living Director in Minnesota. She enjoys fishing, playing with her French bulldog named Dibbs, and spending time with her family and friends at the lake.
